Born at Rawalpindi, I started writing poetry in 1970. Journals like "FUNOON" and "AURAQ" were the first to print me.
I co-authored LOH-I-SIFAL or Tablet of Clay published by English Department of Gordon College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, in October 1972. The other authors were Shahid Malik and Amanat Nadeem, who were my class fellows during my masters in English Literature.Reputed literary magazines of Urdu language have published my poetry over the years.
